Concept Corner

Concept Corner presents structured, illustrated slide decks on the statistical analyses available in RAISINS. Each deck explains the theory underlying the analysis, the research question it addresses and the assumptions on which it rests. It then describes the methodology and estimation procedure used, and shows how the analysis is carried out in RAISINS. Finally, it guides the reader through the inferences the results support and the interpretation of every diagnostic test, estimate and table the module reports. Grounded in the established methodological literature, the decks are intended to support teaching, self-study and the rigorous application of statistical methods in agricultural and allied research.
